FRM Exam 2022 - Dates and Registration Process

The certification course of Financial Risk Management (FRM) is considered one of the most reputed certifications in the file of banking and finance. The FRM certification is globally recognized by institutions like the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), USA. For certification, one must clear the FRM exams conducted twice a year. The examination is divided into two parts and features multiple-choice questions. The candidate should pass both the parts consecutively to get the certificate. These FRM exams are administered on paper, with no option for computer-based tests. However, registration on the GARP’s website portal is available.

FRM 2022 Registration Process

Now that you know the dates let us have a look at the registration process for FRM 2022: -

The first section is exam information, where you have to select the exam type to appear. Then, choose the option that is most appropriate for you. For example, you can choose FRM part 1 or both FRM part 1 and part 2 from the drop-down against the ‘Exam Registering For:.’

Once you have selected the option of your liking, you can proceed and put your preferred examination center in the ‘Exam Site.’ Then, select the preferred examination center from the various test center cities worldwide from the given list.

Provide your e-mail and name for proceeding and creating a GARP account.

Once you have provided the personal details, you can select the official study material from GARP for FRM exams. The print edition of the FRM exam Part 1 book costs $300, and the e-book edition may cost you $250. Please note that these are optional; however, they are non-refundable.

With your FRM registration, you can get one year of complimentary membership to GARP. This membership provides access to a closed network of risk professionals.

With this, we come to the payment details section. You may pay for the examination through a credit card, credit card via fax, check, and wire transfer. If you opt to pay through a credit card, you need to enter the details of your credit card and your billing address. 

If you desire to auto-renew your membership, there is a checkbox under the heading ‘Membership Auto-Renewal’; you may verify that. If you select any payment option other than a credit card, it will send you an e-mail on your registered id describing the procedure for payment.
